Dear Ginny, 

It’s been….ages, hasn’t it? Longer than I expected it to be, if I think about it. I wanted to keep in touch with you and Harry, but life has strapped me in for a crazy ride as of a few weeks ago. Ginny, I’m engaged. 

You remember Gohan, right? The one I’m always talking of? Well, he asked me to marry him. Last night, in fact. I’m still shaking. I’m actually writing this early while he’s still asleep. Ginny, I’m going to get married! I still can’t wrap it around my head. 

I feel awful that I haven’t contacted you earlier because you are the only woman who I count as a friend that I can stand. I suppose growing up with Harry and your brother by my side does that. 

I know it’s asking a lot for someone who rarely writes anymore, and I am sorry for that, but I was curious if you and Harry would like to meet me and Gohan for a bit of celebratory lunch? I’d be thrilled to see you two there. 

Oh, Gohan is waking up. I better go make him breakfast before he destroys the kitchen looking for food. He really is hungry all the time.
